Flooring Sales Specialist
Position Summary:
The overall goal is to drive hardwood flooring sales using customer-orientated, needs focused, selling principles while maintaining acceptable personal sales volumes through agree upon goals and objectives. Our specialists provided excellent customer service and work with retail customers, builders, contractors and designers. This is a commission base position with endless opportunities available for the right candidate.
General Duties:
Characteristics to include honesty, integrity, hard work, enthusiasm and motivation.
Work with architects, contractors, designer, retail customers, etc, to select appropriate products for their projects that fit within their design criteria, budget and time fame.
Create estimates, cost and amount of material required, referring to customers floor plans or descriptions.
Follows-up timely and professionally with customers on all communications, inquiries, and trouble shooting.
Receives payment or obtains credit authorization.
Must be a self-starter and comfortable working and supporting a closely knit team environment.
Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must.
Excellence written, verbal and presentation skills.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree or High School Diploma.
3 years previous industry sales experience required. Understanding of Sales Process, Business Development, Networking & Team Selling, etc.
Sales experience in flooring industry with knowledge of Laminate, Engineered, Vinyl preferred.
CRM experience preferred.
Previous commission sales experience preferred.
Computer experience required, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance required.
Pass background check and drug test required.
References required.
